Bill Mester, president and general manager
Bill founded StageTech in 2001 after a decade of working in the corporate A/V and entertainment industries. He has a long history of providing audio support to Austin’s major arts organizations and designing local musical productions. StageTech’s many loyal clients value Bill’s attention to detail and solution-oriented approach. Bill studied commercial music at Houston Community College. His love for music ranges from Bartok to Zappa. In the 1990s, he toured with Texas blues legend Doyle Bramhall Sr.

Charles Mester, lead audio/video technician
Charles has combined on-the-job training and academic studies to gain proficiency in audio production as well as video configuration and signal flow. In 2016, Charles earned his associate’s degree in commercial music management from Austin Community College. His course of study included studio recording, acoustics, live audio, and business management. He recently completed certification for Allen & Heath dLive series of digital consoles. Charles’ love for quality sound comes from his background in music playing guitar, piano and drums.
Mike Pignataro, audio/video technician
Mike is a graduate from the Institute for Audio Research in New York City. He is a recent graduate from Full Sail University for Audio Production. Upon graduation, Mike received his Pro-Tools Certification. He is skilled in music production and audio restoration. Mike also plays keyboard on a professional level and also does occasional remote session work.
